The Agrider range includes both used and new combine harvesters: machines from Claas, John Deere, New Holland and other manufacturers, refurbished and ready to work. For every combine we list the year, the recorded engine hours, the engine output and the equipment level, so you can compare machines straight from the listing. Our stock changes constantly, so if you cannot find the model you are looking for, get in touch - we will source it through our machine search service.
Which combine size fits your farm?
The most important factor when choosing a combine is the size of the area to be harvested and the range of crops you grow. On smaller farms of 100-300 hectares a well-kept machine with 4-5 straw walkers and around 150-200 kW usually offers the best value. Above 500 hectares it is worth moving up to a larger walker machine or a rotary combine, because daily output and the length of the harvest window become far more important.
- 100-300 ha: 4-5 straw walkers, 150-200 kW, 4.5-6 m cutting table
- 300-500 ha: 5-6 straw walkers, 200-260 kW, 6-7.5 m cutting table
- Above 500 ha: rotary or hybrid threshing system, over 260 kW, cutting table above 7.5 m
What to check before buying a used combine
With a used harvester the engine hours alone do not tell the whole story - it matters just as much under what conditions and in which crops the machine worked. The condition of the threshing unit, the straw walkers, the sieves and the augers determines the real cost of refurbishment.
- Wear on the threshing drum and rasp bars, condition of the concave
- Signs of welding or cracks on the straw walkers and sieve box
- Oil leaks in the engine and hydraulics, cleanliness of the cooling system
- Condition of the cutting table, knife sections and feed auger
- Working order of the electronics, on-board computer and yield measurement
- Documented service history and tyre condition
Headers and accessories
The performance of a combine depends heavily on the header you choose for it. For maize we offer a wide range of OROS and Optigep headers in fixed and folding versions, and for sunflower we supply special low grain loss solutions. Before buying, always confirm that the selected header fits the feeder house and the hydraulics of your combine.
Financing and trade-in
A combine is typically the largest single investment on a farm, so together with our partners we help with leasing and loan financing. We take your existing machine in part exchange, which can significantly reduce the cost of the upgrade. Ask for a quote and our colleagues will call you back within one working day with concrete options.
